Government committed to raising the standard of education-ETO

Under the sound leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, under the Punjab Education Revolution campaign, the state government is committed to changing the look of schools and buildings are being renovated in all government schools in the state and school boundaries are being built.
These words were expressed by Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO today after inaugurating new boundary walls, new classrooms, art and craft rooms etc. in five schools in Jandiala Vidhan Sabha constituency. He said that due to the development-oriented thinking of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, large-scale development works are being carried out in government schools and the infrastructure of government schools is being strengthened. He said that the government is taking meaningful steps to make the state a leading state in the field of education.
Cabinet Minister S. ETO inaugurated the development works such as new classrooms, new boundary walls and art and craft rooms at Government High School Saidolehal at a cost of Rs. 19.55 lakh, Government Elementary School Tarsikka at a cost of Rs. 4.08 lakh, Government Senior Secondary School Tarsikka at a cost of Rs. 24.14 lakh, Government Elementary School Mehsampur Kalan at a cost of Rs. 7.50 lakh and Government Middle School Mehsampur Kalan at a cost of Rs. 11.51 lakh.
Public Works Minister S. E. T. O. said that new roads are also being constructed in these villages at a cost of Rs. 5.46 crore. He said that the main objective of our government is to fulfill the basic needs of the people. He said that no road in Jandiala constituency will be allowed to remain unpaved.
On this occasion, Constituency Coordinator S. Jugraj Singh, School Head Madam Vimmi Bhatia, S. Jagwinder Singh, Mr. Deepak Kumar, S. Sukhpal Singh, S. Sukhjinder Singh, besides a large number of school children, their parents and prominent people of the villages were present.
