St Soldier players shine in CBSE Cluster North Zone Hockey Championship.

The hockey team of St. Soldier elite Convent School Jandiala Guru brought glory to the school by registering a historic victory. The hockey championship in the 18th Cluster North Zone Games of the CBSE Board was organized at Khalsa Academy Mehta Chowk, Amritsar. In which about 28 teams from the North Zone participated. In this championship, the under-17 team of St. Soldier School displayed its excellent game and captured the second runner-up trophy. And along with this, it was a matter of pride and great joy for the school that the players of the St. Soldier team, Yuvraj Singh, Tanvir Singh and Ishmeet Singh, were selected for the National Level Championship. It is worth mentioning that the captain of the Indian hockey team, Harmanpreet Singh, was also a student of St. Soldier School. And he started hockey from the school itself. Accordingly, a hockey academy named after St. Soldier is also running in the school where the players practice continuously in the morning and evening under the supervision of the coach sir.
On reaching the school, the team players and coach Navdeep Sir were given a grand welcome with garlands of flowers and drums. On this occasion, the Managing Director of the school Dr. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri Ji and Director Principal Dr. Amarpreet Kaur Ji praised the excellent performance, hard work, dedication of the entire team and congratulated and congratulated them. They specially thanked the team coach S. Navdeep Singh (Hockey Coach) for his excellent leadership, proper guidance of the players, hard work and encouragement, and best coaching. Due to whose coaching, the players won this prestigious title. They encouraged the players to continue working hard and perform brilliantly at the national level as well. On this occasion, the school Principal Sandeep Sharma, Vice Principal Shilpa Sharma, Coordinator Nilakshi Gupta, Coordinator Mamta Arora, all the staff and children were present.
