The birth anniversary of the Lord of the world, Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, was celebrated with great devotion and spirit at St. Soldier Elite Convent School, Jandiala Guru. Dedicated to this holy day, a special assembly was organized in the school, in which the school management, all the staff and students recited Sri Japji Sahib Ji in congregation.
Later, the students of the school sang the divine Gurbani Kirtan “Aagya Bhai Akal Ki Tabai Chalayo Panthu” and made the congregation listen to it. The children presented a supernatural spectacle of devotion and spirituality through the singing of Gurbani Kirtan.
On this occasion, the Managing Director of the school, Dr. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri Ji, while describing the qualities of Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, said that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the common Guru of all humanity. Gurbani is not for any particular religion or class, but inspires all humanity to follow the path of truth, love, humility and virtue. He also gave detailed information to the students about the history of the Gurus and their teachings.
On this occasion, Director-Principal Dr. Amarpreet Kaur Ji said that in the present era, it is very important to connect children with Gurbani and their rich heritage. He motivated the students to visit Gurdwara Sahib in the morning and evening and connect with Gurbani and follow the true path shown by Gurbani. He said that if the students take the support of Gurbani along with their studies, then Waheguru Ji will definitely bless them with success and peace in life.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, Coordinator Mrs. Nilakshi Gupta, Coordinator Mrs. Mamta Arora, all the staff and students were present.
