Upinderbir Singh Sidhu, a pride of Punjab, has once again brought glory to the region by winning gold and bronze medals. He has now been selected to represent India at the upcoming Pan Pacific Masters Games in Australia.
It is noteworthy that the 5th Khelo National Masters, Fit India Masters, and One Health Athletics Meet was held from March 20 to 22, 2026, where around 2,700 athletes from different states of India participated. In this competition, Upinderbir Singh Sidhu won one gold and one bronze medal in the 40+ category.
His remarkable achievement has created a wave of happiness in the area. Many prominent personalities and members of the media have congratulated Sidhu and his family. Everyone prayed to Waheguru for his continued success and greater achievements in the future.
While speaking to the media, Sidhu shared that he had also represented India at the 23rd Asia Masters Championship held from November 5 to 9, 2025, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Now, he will represent India again at the Pan Pacific Masters Games scheduled from November 6 to 15, 2026, in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Apart from his achievements in sports, Upinderbir Singh Sidhu is also the Managing Director of Jeevan Aas Foundation (a de-addiction center) located in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Since 2018, he has been motivating young people to stay away from drugs and engage in sports.
He also appealed to the youth to make sports an essential part of their lives in order to build a healthy and strong society.
