The Punjab government has made the schools of the state so capable and developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann that now our government schools will prove to be a guide for realizing the dreams taken by students for a bright future. These ideas were expressed by Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO on the occasion of dedicating various development works done at a cost of Rs. 84 lakh 7 thousand in 07 government schools of Jandiala Guru constituency under ‘Punjab Education Revolution’ to the students. Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh said that since assuming power, the main priority of our government was to renovate government hospitals in the state and provide quality education to the people. He said that with this objective, our government had started Aam Aadmi Clinic, School of Eminence so that the people of the state could get quality health facilities and quality education.
Today, he inaugurated new classrooms, boundary walls, Anganwadi rooms, renovation of rooms and other development works at Government Elementary School Gill, Government Elementary School Tirathpur, Government Elementary School Chhina, Government Elementary School Makhanwindi, Government High School Makhanwindi, Government Elementary School Dera Bajigar and Government Elementary School Nizampur. Addressing the parents and people of the area, he said that the previous governments never paid attention to the basic needs of the people of the state, but rather they kept misleading the Punjabis on one issue or the other, but the current Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has brought a revolution in health, education and employment in the state. He said that ‘We do not know politics but building schools and hospitals and health and education are our first priority.’
Addressing the students, parents, teachers and the common people of the constituency, he said that by bringing the Punjab education revolution, the Punjab government has made the government schools of the state capable of providing such education that now our youth will become doctors, engineers and teachers. He said that, ‘We are providing medicine and education in every village, but those who are ruining the youth of Punjab with drugs will not be spared at any cost.’ He called upon the people to support the campaign started to curb drugs so that Punjab can be made a colorful Punjab again.
