Mission Haryali: International Fateh Academy Leads the Green Movement in Association with Apna Punjab Foundation

In a powerful stride toward environmental conservation, International Fateh Academy has taken a front-running role in Mission Haryali, a massive tree plantation drive launched by the Apna Punjab Foundation in association with the Federation of Private Schools. The campaign, aiming to plant 8 lakh trees, is a collective initiative to promote ecological awareness and instil green values among the youth.

Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri, President of the Federation of Private Schools, has extended his support to the campaign and applauded the schools’ participation across the region.

At the heart of this movement stands S. Jagbir Singh, Chairman of International Fateh Academy whose vision and leadership have been instrumental in mobilizing students and staff toward meaningful environmental action. Under his guidance, the academy has actively engaged students in tree plantation drives, eco-awareness sessions, and hands-on green projects within and beyond the school campus.

Speaking on the occasion, S. Jagbir Singh said, “It is truly inspiring to see our students come forward with such enthusiasm and commitment toward preserving the environment. Initiatives like Mission Haryali are not just symbolic acts—they are steps toward long-term behavioural change. I urge every student to become an ambassador for nature and make environmental care a lifelong habit.”

Furthering its commitment, International Fateh Academy has also integrated sustainability education into its curriculum and daily practices—encouraging activities like plastic-free campaigns, water conservation projects, composting, and the maintenance of green spaces within the school.
