International athlete Upinderbir Sidhu Makhanwindi brought glory to Punjab and India by winning a silver medal

Jeevan As Foundation MD Upinderbir Singh Sidhu, a resident of village Makhanwindi, district Amritsar, represented India from Asia in the 38th (MIOMAC) Malaysian International Masters Athletics Championship in Malaysia, during which Upinderbir Sidhu brought glory to not only Punjab but also the entire country of India by winning a silver medal. On this occasion, during a press conference, Sidhu told reporters that he finished second in Asia by placing high jump in the 40+ category. He said that now he will also represent India in the Pan Pacific Masters Games to be held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from 6 to 15 November 2026. It is worth mentioning here that Sidhu Makhanwindi had earlier organized the 5th Khelo National Masters, Fit India Masters and the 5th Athletics Meet organized by One Health, in which Upinderbir Singh Sidhu from Punjab participated in the +40 category. In which Sidhu brought glory to Punjab by winning one gold and one bronze medal, due to which there was a wave of happiness in the area. Talking to reporters during the press meet, Sidhu said that he had also participated in the 23rd Asia Masters Championship 2025 from India. Giving more information, Managing Director of Jeevan Aas Foundation Upinderbir Singh Sidhu said that Jeevan Aas Foundation, which has been running since 2018 and is located in Hanumangarh (Rajasthan), is inspiring many youth to give up drugs and join sports so that a good and healthy society can be created. On this occasion, many renowned personalities of the area congratulated International Athlete Upinderbir Singh Sidhu Makhanwindi and prayed to God that he may scale more heights.
