Issues of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class employees will be resolved on first come, first serve basis:- Cabinet Minister ETO.

Jandiala Guru 8 May Kuljit Singh) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government is committed to the interests of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class employees.

Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO today held a meeting with the officers and employees of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Employees Welfare Federation PSPCL and PSTL and assured them that their demands are completely justified. He said that instructions have been given to the concerned officials to resolve all the problems related to your departmental promotion and merit list soon. The Power Minister said that a meeting will be called soon in this regard and your problems will be resolved on priority basis. He said that you are the backbone of the department and without you the department cannot progress.

On this occasion, the Welfare Federation also submitted a memorandum to the Minister. On this occasion, State President Avtar Singh Kainth thanked Cabinet Minister ETO and said that he has assured to consider our demands seriously. Among others, Mr. Narinder Singh Kalsi, Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Mr. Harjinder Singh, Mr. Pal Singh, Mr. Balkar Bagi, Mr. Vikrant Gill and other employees were present on the occasion.
