As per the directions of Hon’ble DGP Punjab, Shri Gaurav Yadav, and under the supervision of Shri Satinder Singh, IPS, DIG Border Range Amritsar, and Shri Maninder Singh, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural, led by Shri Aditya Wariyar (SP – Investigation) and Shri Gurvinder Singh, DSP Ajnala, achieved a major breakthrough by arresting two individuals for transmitting sensitive intelligence to Pakistan’s intelligence agency.
Based on a confidential input received by the SHO of Police Station Ajnala, it was revealed that Falaksher Masih, son of Jinder Masih, and Suraj Masih, son of Chuga Masih, both residents of Balarhwal, PS Ajnala, were in contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agency. Both were involved in collecting and transmitting crucial information such as army movements, location of BSF camps, location of airports, photographs, and other sensitive data to their handlers in Pakistan.
Taking swift action, FIR No. 92 dated 03.05.2025 was registered at Police Station Ajnala under Sections 3, 5, and 9 of the Official Secrets Act, Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, and Section 61(2) of BNS. Both individuals were arrested, and two mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
The arrested individuals are being thoroughly interrogated. If any further involvement of others comes to light during the investigation, strict action will be taken against them.
