In St. Soldier Elite Convent School Jandiala Guru, the sacrifice of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji towards the country, his martyrdom was remembered with great devotion and patriotic spirit. In this regard, a program was organized in the school auditorium. In which group song and poetry competitions related to the martyrdom of Udham Singh Ji were organized between the five houses of the school (Daisy, Rose, Lily, Lotus, Panji). In which the students paid heartfelt tribute to the great martyr through their performances. In these competitions, in the group song category, Rose House won the first prize, Lily House won the second prize and Lotus won the third prize. Similarly, in the poetry competitions, Daisy House won the first prize, Lotus House won the second prize and Lily House won the third prize. The role of the judges of these competitions was played by S. Pritpal Singh (Bhagat Namdev Theater Ghuman), S. Harjot Singh (Lecturer Music), and S. Sukhwinder Pal Singh (Lecturer Music) Ji performed brilliantly. S. Man Singh Dhoom (Vice President Kamboj Foundation) and his wife Principal Savinder Kaur Ji were specially present as the chief guests in this event. Their presence and inspiring words encouraged the students to uphold the ideals of courage, patriotism and service to the country shown by Shaheed Udham Singh. Later, the Managing Director of the school Dr. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri and Director Principal Smt. Dr. Amarpreet Kaur Ji presented a memento to the special guests and thanked them wholeheartedly for their wonderful presence. . They made the students aware of the history of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji’s martyrdom and encouraged the students to take inspiration from the life and sacrifice of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, to remain dedicated, honest and committed to serving the country. On this occasion, the school’s Principal Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Vice Principal Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, Coordinator Nilakshi Gupta, all the staff and children were present.
