Mohali, ( Mahinder Pal ) : A Mega Job Fair under the initiative of Punjab Government’s Ghar Ghar Rozgar mission was today held at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh with the support of District bureau of employment and enterprises Patiala. Sh. Madan Lal Jalalpur, MLA, Ghanaur was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group Presided over the function. Ms Simpy Singla, District Employment Officer, Patiala was also present on the occasion.
Over 40 companies from various sectors including IT, ITES, Education, E- Commerce and Manufacturing etc offered appointment letters to around 950 eligible candidates while 902 shortlisted under Self Employment project. Over 2500 candidates from Tricity, Rajpura, Patiala and nearby areas participated in the Job Fair.

Various Govt. employment sectors including Dairy, Fisheries, Horticulture, District Industries Centre (DIC), Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM), Rural Self Employment Training Institutes etc visited the Job Fair.
MLA while speaking on the occasion said that along with the Rozgaar Mission, Punjab Government is bound to its commitments for the development of its area/district etc. He said that with an investment of around 1.25 crore the road widening project from Alampur to Aryans Campus from 10 ft to 18 ft is on the final stage. The road widening project from Aryans Campus leading to Quark City, Chamaru would also be started soon.
Dr. Anshu Kataria while thanking the Government said that the spree to provide jobs to the unemployed youth of district by the Govt is commendable. He said that along with the Govt, it’s the responsibility of the Private sector also to train their youth in such a manner so they can be fitted suitable in the leading companies.
Companies including Frisklancer services Pvt. Ltd, Corporate stalwarts, Aroon aviation Service, Vestige marketing Pvt Ltd, Bird Academy, Holiday Tour and Travel, Tech Mahindra, Gold Medal Electrical Pvt Ltd, ICICI Bank, Opulent technology, Leom International, Web Utopian Technology Pvt Ltd, Weave byte Infotech Pvt Ltd etc visited the Job Fair.
Ms Sukhaman Bath, Dy Chief Executive Officer; Ms Rupsy Pahuja, Career Counsellor etc were also present on the occasion.
