  • Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab represents all schools in the state. Giving information, Federation President Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri said that the Federation is very sincere about the quality of education. From implementing Punjabi language from the beginning to various education-related policies, the Federation has always welcomed them. He said that in the past, the trend of dummy admissions has increased among the students of class XI and XII of schools. Last year, CBSE took strict action against such schools by checking them across the country. This time, CBSE has issued orders that if any such student is found, he will not be allowed to sit for the papers regularly and action will also be taken against the school.  During a poll conducted by the Federation, 97 percent of schools are in favor of a complete ban on these fake admissions. After this stand of the CBSE Board and the Federation, the Punjab Government has also become serious about it. Recently, the Honorable Deputy Commissioners of the districts have also held meetings with the school administrators and asked them to completely ban this. After seeing this trend of the past few days, it has been heard that fake admissions have taken the path of government schools. While giving information, Sardar Jagbir Singh Randhawa, the representative of the Amritsar district of the Federation, said that a monitoring team of the district has been formed which will select and identify each student and school and submit its report to the Federation. The Federation will take the responsibility of taking strict action against the schools concerned in coordination with the CBSE and the Government. Dr.  Jagjit Singh Dhuri says that non-attending admissions have already destroyed technical colleges in Punjab and now this disease has entered schools. The federation is committed to uprooting it.
