Amritsar Rural Police destroyed huge amount of narcotics.

As per the directions of Satinder Singh DIG Border Range and SSP Rural Charanjit Singh, the drugs were disposed of at Khanna Paper Mill by Amritsar Rural Drug Disposal Committee. In the presence of Charanjit Singh SSP Rural Chairman, Member Committee Harinder Singh Gill SPD and Azad Davinder Singh DSP Narcotics, banned narcotics recovered in 42 cases under NDPS Act were disposed of. In this, 28.295 kg heroin, 4090 narcotic pills, 1250 narcotic capsules and 950 grams of narcotic powder were destroyed.
