Amritsar Districts lead across the state in providing benefits of government services at home – Deputy Commissioner

  Amritsar district is playing an important role in making the dream project of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann a reality in which he dreamed of providing government services at home to the residents of the state and among the services provided so far, Amritsar  The district is leading from across the state.  Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Sakshi Sahni expressed this and congratulated the employees engaged in this service for their performance.

 On this occasion, District Technical Coordinator S. Prince Singh gave more information and said that 43 services have been announced by the government for door-to-door services, which any citizen can call from his home.  He said that after the call made by the concerned person, our team members go to his house, take necessary documents from him, fill the form and then the service requested by him is done on reaching his house.

     He said that so far 6511 people had applied for various services in Amritsar district, from whom 8001 applied for services, out of which only 15 people did not reach home as per the specified time, while in the remaining 6496 cases 7587  Services are provided on time.   He said that currently there is no pending case and whenever a citizen applies for service, he is responded to immediately.  He said that for this the phone number 1076 can be dialed or the application can be made by going to the online service portal.   Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Jyoti Bala, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Amit Sareen, Assistant Commissioner Gursimranjit Kaur and other officials were also present on this occasion.
