DC, SSP and SDM made farmers aware to not burn paddy straw.

DC Amritsar Sakshi Sahni, SSP Rural Charanjit Singh and SDM 1 Gursimran Singh Dhillon visited Safipur, Bandala and Taragarh Talawa villages under Jandiala Guru and made farmers aware to not burn straw and said that this time the cases of burning straw have been less compared to last year. Due to which the environment has also become less polluted this time. He said that the government is giving every possible help to the farmers for the maintenance of straw.  Farmers are also cooperating. Balers are being made from the residue of paddy and they are being stored. These are also being used as animal fodder. In some cases, farmers are facing some difficulties for which the administration has assured to resolve some cases and some cases are being taken to the government so that farmers do not face any kind of difficulty. On this occasion DSP Jandiala Ravindra Singh, SHO Inspector Mukhtar Singh, Sub Inspector Naresh Sharma and others were present.
