3 more accused arrested in dry fruit godown robbery case

SHO police station Chatiwind was informed by Sukhdev Singh son of Nirmal Singh resident of Kothi No. 2 Roop Nagar Gate Hakima under the supervision of Harinder Singh Gill SPD that on 4th September 20 – 25 unknown persons entered with weapons and broke the locks inside and outside the cold store and took away 51 bags of black pepper, 40 bags of black gram, 180 boxes of cashew nuts, 42 boxes of Tulsi brand cashew nuts, 62 boxes of figs, 15 boxes of dry plums, 49 boxes of saugi and DVR along with other items in vehicles. In this case, 4 accused were arrested by Chatiwind police along with the stolen items. In this regard, different police teams led by DSP Attari and SHO Chatiwind investigated the case. A detailed investigation was conducted in which 3 accused Dharmendra Singh alias Dharam son of Jassa Singh resident of Asal police station Sadar Ferozepur, Harpreet Singh alias Happy Sahota son of Seraj Singh resident of Asal and Sahil son of Raj Singh resident of Asal district Ferozepur have been arrested. The arrested accused will be interrogated in detail.
