Teej festival was celebrated with great joy at Inder Farm in Jandiala Guru. Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO’s wife Suhinder Kaur and his mother Surinder Kaur specially attended this program. Apart from Gidda, other programs related to Punjabi culture were presented by the children in the program. Apart from this, swings were also installed which were enjoyed by children and women. While talking, Suhinder Kaur said that the country always progresses with culture and civilization. She said that we all should celebrate these festivals with enthusiasm. Apart from this, Mata Surinder Kaur told that Mata Parvati did severe penance for many years to get Lord Shiva as her husband. On this occasion, Market Committee Gehri Mandi’s Chairman Suedar Chanakh Singh, Sunaina Randhawa and others were present.
