Celebrating Van Mahautsav, Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal and ETO planted saplings at public places

 On the occasion of the state-level Van Maha Utsav celebrated by the Punjab Government today, Cabinet Ministers Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Harbhajan Singh ETO in the Punjab Government of Amritsar District together with the people in their respective constituencies planted saplings in public places and encouraged the people.  Encouraged to plant more than

 Cabinet Minister S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal planted saplings at Guru Ghar Mehr Bukhari of his constituency and announced that before August 15, he will plant about one and a half lakh saplings in Ajnala constituency.   He also encouraged people to plant more and more trees in their homes and fields.   Mr. Dhaliwal said that we have been planting saplings at government places for the past few days and have planted more than one lakh saplings so far.  He told those people that they must plant at least five trees on their motorcycles.  On this occasion, SDM Ajnala Arvindarpal Singh, Tehsildar Lachman Singh, Nagar Panchayat President Jaspal Singh Dhillon, Urban President Amit Aul, Baba Joga Singh, Rajbir Singh and other personalities were present.

  Similarly, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO celebrated Van Mahautsav by planting saplings at Government Senior Secondary School Beas and planted saplings along with children and teachers.  He urged on this occasion to plant more saplings to make Punjab greener and provide a clean environment to its future generations.   Mr. Harbhajan Singh said that our effort is to root out this environmental problem in Punjab for years to come and we are planting more trees to reduce pollution.   So we appeal to people to be a part of this campaign and plant more saplings and take care of them.
