Facilities like shooting range, astroturf, swimming pool to be available in government schools – ETO ETO inspected schools in Gehri and Navan Kot.

Harbhajan Singh ETO Cabinet Minister Punjab has said that now all those facilities will be available in government schools which have been the dream of the students of model and convent schools till now. Construction of astroturf, hockey ground, football ground, all weather swimming pool and shooting range has started in government schools and government schools are being prepared as nurseries of future Olympians.

He today inspected schools in Government Primary School Gehri and Government Senior Secondary School Navan Kot and spent time with the students. He said that earlier a sport like shooting was for the children of rich people, which we are bringing for the students of government schools.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is continuously moving forward in the direction of education revolution, new dimensions are being established. He said that just like we plant a tree today and it gives fruits and shade after 5.7 years, in the same way we are providing this facility today so that in future our students and players bring glory to the country all over the world. He said that now the students of government schools will move ahead of the students of convent and model schools. On this occasion, teachers and staff of the school welcomed him on his arrival at the school and shared the progress report of the schools.
