There are potholes at 3 places in about 3 kilometers from GT Road Jandiala to Deep Mandi Road, which are becoming the cause of accidents.

Let us tell you that the road leading from GT Road to Ghari Mandi village, which is about 3 kilometers, was built about 10 months ago. But within 10 months, there were potholes at 3 places on this road, the first pothole being near Anaj Mandi Gate. There is a nearby pothole, the second pothole about 10 meters ahead and the third pothole which is near the government school. Due to these potholes, due to the separation of gravel and stones from the tar, two wheelers are the biggest victims of accidents because they fall on the road. There are more slips. The bridge built on the Chappar of Deep Mandi is also not built properly.

In this matter, former Sarpanch of Gehri Mandi Manjinder Singh Bhiri said that about Rs 1 crore 37 lakh had been spent on this road, yet while raising questions on the contractor, he said that this work stinks of corruption. The government should punish such contractors. Appropriate action should be taken against him by investigation.

The same XEN PWD Inderjit Singh said that in this matter he will get the road repaired after seeing the opportunity.
